Dual Lipolysis Laser
Laser Lipolysis:
Method made by means of a special Neodymium: YAG laser that allows the dissolution of fat from any part of the body, fibrotic zones and difficult access, avoiding bleeding and prolonged recoveries. Laser liposculpture has proven to be a safe and practical way to reduce excess fat in areas difficult to model with exercise. The treatment is similar to that of traditional liposculpture: the patient is anesthetized locally and a cannula is inserted that acts on the fatty tissue. The main change lies in the technology being used and the results that are obtained, as it turns out to be more effective and less invasive, with more immediate results.
Technique:
The 1064 nm Nd: YAG laser and its low penetration act locally through a process called selective photo-thermolysis. In this process light energy is converted into caloric energy by being absorbed by the fat. Adipocytes in absorbing energy expand and break producing a fat emulsion that is eliminated by the body through organs such as the kidneys and liver.
Surgical Time:
From 1 to 2 hours depending on if it is combined with another type of procedure.
Complications occur in less than 1% of patients who undergo this treatment, most of the time it is a very simple procedure without major side effects. There may be swelling, bruising, pain, possible infections and pulmonary thromboembolism.
Risks:
Complications occur in less than 1% of patients who undergo this treatment, most of the time it is a very simple procedure without major side effects. There may be swelling, bruising, pain, possible infections and pulmonary thromboembolism.
Postperative:
It is recommended a recovery period of 48 hours, after that the patient can return to normal activities, to start exercise is recommended to wait from 3 weeks to a month. It is recommended to use a girdle that helps to reshape and shape the figure for a month.
Results:
Laser liposculpture has proven to be a safe and practical way to reduce excess fat in areas difficult to model with exercise. It produces less inflammation and postoperative pain, does not leave hematomas and carries a minimum risk of bleeding, since with this technique the surgical vessels are not injured. The final results can be observed the month of the procedure.
Advantage:
In this procedure, local anesthesia can be used, the patient does not bleed and is ambulatory, as well as the fact that the production of collagen is also an additional factor, which allows the skin to tighten and hydrate to the maximum, in a short time.
- Faster and more comfortable recovery
- Reduced risk of bruising and inflammation
- Retraction of the skin
- Local anesthesia without hospital admission
