Photodepilation
Photodepilation:
Imagine not having to shave, or use the tweezers, or wax, or endure the tedious process of electrical hair removal again.
Now with this technological innovation, unwanted hair can be easily removed with a flash of light, whether on the face, back, legs, and groin or anywhere else, eliminates safely and effectively persistent and annoying hairs. For millions of men and women suffering from unwanted hair, it could be a dream come true.
What is the Photodepilation?
Is a non-invasive therapy device specifically designed to remove unwanted hair anywhere on the body.
How does it remove the hair?
This system of hair removal uses a system of pulsed light filters to remove hair and prevent it from growing again and allows to treat all types of hair and skin colors. First, a cold gel is applied between the treatment head and the skin. Then, in a flash, pulses of light penetrate safely into the skin and destroy hundreds of hair follicles simultaneously. When the gel is removed, much of this hair goes with it. The remaining hair in the treated area falls in one or two weeks.
Can all hair colors be treated in all parts of the body?
The unique design of the equipment allows you to adapt the treatment to each of your patients, according to their hair color, texture and body location. The Photoepilation can remove hair from all colors, from all parts of the body including the beard, upper lip, cheeks, legs, arms, armpits and back, as well as sensitive areas such as the ears, chest and groin.
How is the treatment with the Photodepilation?
When the light flash is emitted over the area, you may feel a small prick similar to a league lash. No local anesthesia or analgesics are needed.
How many treatments are needed?
This depends on the color of hair and its location on the body. You may need several treatments, lasting each session for about 10-30 minutes.
Are there any side effects?
Some side effects, such as a slight redness of the skin or local burning, may appear but disappear within a few days. In rare cases there may be blisters.
Will there be any restrictions on my activity after treatment?
You can return to work the same day and resume all your activities. Only exposure to the sun should be limited, which is always a good idea.
How is the Photodepilation different from other lasers?
The patented innovative technology of the Photoepilation allows us to program the treatment specifically for your hair color, texture and location in the body, as well as the color of your skin.
This flexible approach to treatment cannot be achieved with any other non-invasive laser or method available at this time.
